Art Embroidery
Embroidery -- like cooking -- is an art. My mother taught me both. But there was still more to learn, as I found out.
Over the years women from The Netherlands, United States, Great Britain, and South Africa introduced me to new techniques and the world of embroidery’s artistic possibilities. Eventually, I studied at the Royal School of Needlework in London.
Art embroidery has brought me creative satisfaction and inner calm. This is a winning combination; particularly when juggling a job and bringing up a family.
May I invite you to try embroidery that your mother probably never taught you?
You need no previous experience in drawing, painting or needlework. And you do not need patience. It will come. Treat yourself to something new, expressive, and beautiful. Be forewarned: it becomes addictive.
